Rockson is a little known make in the UK as most of their production went to India. Engines were either Villiers or Blackburne. A fmily company started by the Rock family and passed down The business started with one generation and moved down the generations to three brothers within the family. The son of one of the three brothers who ran the factory started by their grandfather has a Blackburn engine Rockson, under restoration for at least the last 20 years but now almost finished. The company only ever made three bikes fitted with Blackburn engines, one for each of the brothers but it’s not known which of the brothers’ bikes is still in family ownership.
