Sunday 16th April 2023 saw the inaugural Ken Blake Memorial Run and our first run of 2023 take place. Starting from Ansty PYO who very kindly opened up for the morning for coffee, refreshments and then lunch at the end of the run. Nine intrepid riders on Pre 1931 machines braved the mixed weather and started the run. Despite our Chairman and Treasurer both having mechanical issues at the start they persevered and completed a large portion of the 38 mile planned route. In all no one completed the full route having lost their way in one village or another.
Thank you to Ansty PYO, newly rejoined member Wayne Weedon armed with his camera who took the photos and our President Betty Barber for arranging the refreshments and lunches in conjunction with Ansty PYO.
